Hey Guys & Dolls! I know recently I spoke about getting engaged and well it’s very true! Armand proposed to me at Ariel’s Grotto inside Magic Kingdom at New Fantasyland on January 13th 2019. He tells me he was a nervous wreck but knew it was what he wanted to do. He’d been ready and I have been for some time (I may have annoyed him a bit about it).
I absolutely had to have this shirt by one of my favorite Etsy Shop owners Once Upon A Tee Shirt. It’s a cute nod to how expensive Walt Disney World could be. I’d made a joke about scratching out the numbers and updating them with actual prices, and I may we shall see. I paired it with this fantastic collarless coat by Ellos and even snuck in one of my customized Berets for good measure.
Magic Kingdom is easily my most favorite park. Simply put all the classic rides are there and all of my Disney memories are their (not all of them of course but enough). It’s the park where dreams are made of and if you are anything like me, they are where dreams come true. My now fiancee proposed to me there while meeting Ariel. It was the icing on an already amazing cake (we’d had days of fun prior truly).
Lights! Camera! Action! Here’s a fun look at all the goodness that is Disney Hollywood Studios & Disney After Hours.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of my favorite parks because it’s like spending a day at the movies!. We waited a bit to head over to this park because we had special event tickets for it. It’s an event called Disney Magic Hours and having a ticket means the park is open an additional THREE HOURS after park close, and let me tell you at $125 per person it is absolutely WORTH IT.
What’s better than Na’vi and The Lion King? Not much. Read all about my day/days (funny story) at the wildest part of Disney World.
My time at Animal Kingdom was quite magical. For a little backstory, I had not been for 15 long years. I was last here with my mother and my god sister, and while that was a fun trip this one was different. I’m newly engaged (post coming soon) and to celebrate how that happened, to celebrate our love in this park was so special to me.
I absolutely love this leather jacket from the Disney Villains Collection. I’d gotten it on a whim from Shopdisney.com and I knew it had to be mine. I paired it with a Maleficent tee that’s actually my boyfriends from Threadless.com. I like pairing something so funky like a moto-jacket with something basic like a tee and some standard jeans.
In a post that should have gone up YESTERDAY! Apologies on that truly. i present an all Polka Dot everything party! Yesterday you see was National Polka Dot Day, and myself and polka dot lovers everywhere were celebrating all over social media, myself included on Instagram. To celebrate I wanted to talk about an outfit I wore not too long before I went on my trip to Disney World a few weeks ago. You wouldn’t know it from the pictures but i’m freezing cold in these! Let’s talk a little about this outfit now yes?
In my first post back from vacation, I wanted to talk a bit about my birthday and how magical it was. Two days prior the love of my life Armand asked me to marry him, and I happily agreed. Now we (mostly me) had been searching for a reservation to Be Our Guest for MONTHS prior and finally was able to get one for dinner. I actually cried tears of joy because I knew that finding that and on my birthday of all days was simply perfect. I thought he’d propose then (I of course was wrong).
Guys & Dolls my vacation came and left! I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone by. I feel like just yesterday we celebrated the holidays and now my birthday and this amazing trip have come and gone.. I decided I was going to celebrate the week with some really cute t-shirts for the trip. Below are some of the many styles that I wore throughout the week!
Guys & Dolls, have you ever gone through your closet time and time again only to find that you have nothing to wear and that date you wanted so badly is happening in 3 hours? Now lets top it off with the fact that you are a proud devoted Disney fan. How does one approach an outfit for a date? I broke it up into four ways.
Holy Smokes! In less than a month Armand and I will be traveling to Disney World! It had me thinking about all I wanted to do and to see but also….WHAT DO I PACK? I truly had no clue for a few days. Granted I just bought a bunch of Disney merch from the Disney Store in Times Square but what about those absolutes? The things you need to bring with every trip you take, and so I decided to make a list!
Soooooo Did you forget to get the mister something for the holidays? If you are like me sometimes you just haven’t a clue what to get the love of your life. I’ve been known to wait until the last hours of Christmas Eve to get something for Armand.
So…did you forget a gift for the lady in your life? or maybe you just couldn’t figure her out in time, and well now you need SOMETHING for her. Have no fear let me help you sort it all out. This list is great for the Disney fan in your life.
So I like you have hobbies outside of blogging. one of which involves arts and crafts and of course Disney. I like to customize my older (not as loved) hats into Disney themed hats. Berets in particular are easiest to design but i’ve done fedora’s and Dad hats as well.
Today I’d like to talk about this really awesome Donald Duck Beret. I had this Navy Goorin Bros. Beret I had not touched in Months and I knew that I wanted to do something with it. I thought of Donald because he wears a ton of blue in various outfits. I added a feathered ball of yarn in the back to represent his tail and sewed in yellow “Buttons” that are similar to those he wears on his jacket.
Hey Guys & Dolls! Hoping everyone is having a great December so far. If you haven’t noticed I recently just redesigned my site, and even made a Holiday Gift Guide for everyone. With all the Holiday talk I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget about some of the vert cool Disney merch i’ve been purchasing lately. Case and point this awesome Aladdin style tee from Target. I would later find out the design was stolen, I will not link anything directly to Target as a result and will Link to Once Upon A Tee Shirt the original creators.
You’ve got a big family? So big in fact it gets difficult to figure out what to get folks. I personally don’t have to deal with this as I personally only shop for two people during the holidays (if you must know its my mom and my boyfriend) but if you do here’s a list of those you wanna shop for. If you need a list for shopping for the girlfriend and boyfriend you can find that here in my more trendy picks.
So, you are looking for some great things to buy for the holidays. You also have a big Disney fan in your life? Why not let me walk you through some of my favorite things to buy that Disney lover in your life. Lately a lot of us Disney fans have been into holiday themed items. If you are in the parks a lot you have seen the change in the gift shops about a month or so ago (yes they start pretty early). So look for Plush, Clothing & even ornaments featuring their Disney favorites in holiday theme. It’ll really get their heart strings going I promise you.
Hey Guys & Dolls! Hoping everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving (if you celebrate of course). It’s time to get back into it! There’s plenty of content coming the month of December so BE READY! The entire month i’ll have Holiday gift guides and much more so much sure you checking back in! of course the best way to check in is to subscribe to my newsletter where I’ll feature new toy items, sales & much more Disney!
I found the dress at Target during the summer. It was supposed to be my "go-to” Summer dress but I never found the time to wear it, and then I thought about how nice it would be as it got colder and held off. It did take a quick trip with me to Atlantic City for Armand and I’d 5 year anniversary. I love how bold and color this print is. The blue is truly eye catching and the florals chosen make sense for the color. The accessories were chosen pretty much by comfort.
