Disney Hats | Customized Donald Duck Beret
So I like you have hobbies outside of blogging. one of which involves arts and crafts and of course Disney. I like to customize my older (not as loved) hats into Disney themed hats. Berets in particular are easiest to design but i’ve done fedora’s and Dad hats as well.
Today I’d like to talk about this really awesome Donald Duck Beret. I had this Navy Goorin Bros. Beret I had not touched in Months and I knew that I wanted to do something with it. I thought of Donald because he wears a ton of blue in various outfits. I added a feathered ball of yarn in the back to represent his tail and sewed in yellow “Buttons” that are similar to those he wears on his jacket.
That red bow is hard as heck to do! I had to learn it on YouTube (i’m sure I watched at least 20 videos). I had red ribbon left over from a hat I designed with a Minnie Mouse theme. It was PERFECT for this beret.
Take a look at the beret below, and be sure to look out for new posts (especially while I’m at Disney) for more berets/hats that i’ll be taking photos of in the parks.
