Hey Guys & Dolls! Hope everyone is enjoying this humid and wet Friday. It's pretty gross here in NYC, but that's not stopping us from getting our last minute summer fun in. It's August! Before you know it they'll be leaves falling and sweater weather. So let's enjoy this while we can no?
This was one of the first outfits shot during our visit to Coney Island a few weeks ago. I decided on very light colors and patterns for this look and had that very cute bikini by Ellos on underneath. We decided on shooting this outfit on the boardwalk itself because the color scheme was just right.
The top is by Rachel Roy, and I had gotten in at last years CurvyCon (amongst so many other things). It features a very fun and light pattern and is asymmetrical on the bottom. It's just the kind of blouse I love. Unique, fit & flirty. I wore my trusty rusty mom jeans via GAP once again.
For shoes, I wore my slippers from Forever 21, which reminds me that I definitely need a new pair or an updated version. I've had way too many flats get destroyed thanks to all this rain that's been coming lately. My Marc Jacobs canvas tote bag I purchased at Bookmarc a few months back, I bought a black one a few weeks ago so I wouldn't dirty this one as much as I have been doing. Finally, as always my hat is by Goorin Bros. It's no longer available but if you check their site there are tons of different Panama Options for you.
