How to Pull off Fall Florals

Hey Guys & Dolls! How’s Everyone doing!?

Let’s talk about florals for the fall/winter? Do you all do it or is it exclusive to the spring? I know for myself it’s a year round print. I wear it in the fall to keep myself in high sprits as the weather gets colder and it feels more dreary than ever. The brighter the better with this print. Let’s breakdown what i’m wearing:

  • Dress: Ava & Viv via Target

  • Watch: Guess

  • Necklace: (Walt Disney World)

  • Hat: Goorin Bros. “Jac Jac”

I found the dress at Target during the summer. It was supposed to be my "go-to” Summer dress but I never found the time to wear it, and then I thought about how nice it would be as it got colder and held off. It did take a quick trip with me to Atlantic City for Armand and I’d 5 year anniversary. I love how bold and color this print is. The blue is truly eye catching and the florals chosen make sense for the color. The accessories were chosen pretty much by comfort.

I decided on my trusty rusty GUESS watch paired with what is clearly my favorite necklace. I’d gotten this necklace at Walt Disney World a few years ago. I’d been searching for sterling silver and was so happy to have found it here. Sterling is less likely to “go bad” on you after getting wet so it was an obvious choice for me.

Lastly I wore my Gaucho Hat from Goorin Bros. I’ve mentioned before my love of customizing my hats and this one was no different. The dress is a sea foam blue and so I had to try and pair it with a hat that fit that same palette. Enter in My customized Little Mermaid hat and the rest was history.

How would you wear florals for the fall/winter? Let me know in the comments!
