The Stars Shine at Hollywood Studios | Disney World Trip

Lights! Camera! Action! Here’s a fun look at all the goodness that is Disney Hollywood Studios & Disney After Hours.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of my favorite parks because it’s like spending a day at the movies!. We waited a bit to head over to this park because we had special event tickets for it. It’s an event called Disney Magic Hours and having a ticket means the park is open an additional THREE HOURS after park close, and let me tell you at $125 per person it is absolutely WORTH IT.

We didn’t wait in line for a thing. Everything offered at the park (they will let you know of course). We completed the entire park in 4 hours as we had gotten there an hour before park close for a head start, and to see Fantasmic.

I’d also met up with a good friend of mine and her girlfriend for a crazy ride on the Hollywood Tower of Terror. It’s one of my favorite rides, a true childhood classic. We spent some time at Toy Story Land as well. It was my first time there, and I literally shed a tear as I approached it. I’ve been a fan of the films since I was a small child and to see Andy’s backyard come to life in that way was just perfect. I got to ride Slinky Dog Dash TWO TIMES! as well as Alien Swirling Saucers ( we asked a Disney Cast Member nicely if we could!), I had the Brisket Sandwich and one of those tarts that are so popular at Woody’s Lunchbox. It was easily the highlight of my night.

We also met up with a ton of characters including Mickey, Minnie, Olaf, BB-8, Chewbacca & Kylo Ren. All with little to no wait as well. We were given free popcorn and Mickey Bars as to snack on while we rode everything multiple times. It was just a perfect evening. I can’t stress enough how worth it Disney After Hours really is. DO IT. Can’t stress enough.

Take a look at some of the many photos and good times had while at this park, be on the lookout for more posts on the other two parks!
