Avenger's Week: Tony Stark

  • Steve Rogers: Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?

  • Tony Stark: Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist.

I had to start Avengers Week with the man who started it all. Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Tony starts off as a man you’d mostly wanna punch in the face a character, a billionaire who loves women, drinks and the money he makes. By the time we get to Avengers: Infinity War he’s a changed man. He’s suffered dearly having inadvertently created Ultron who then destroyed an entire city to create an extinction level event, losing a good friend in Captain America & realizing that all those weapons Stark Industries had made in the past did real damage to people. He’s found love and, but he’s also found anxiety in knowing that the world will never truly be safe.

I decided on this outfit because I was in awe of sorts of the man with many talents the Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist. Without this version of Tony, we do not get the Tony we see today. Because he is a changed man this version of him is lost on most and so I bring the playboy back for a bit. I’ve had my CK blazer for YEARS and it’s my go-to whenever I want to look business professional. It works pretty great for my business casual look since I’m wearing black jeans.

As a nod to Iron Man I’m wearing a shirt from Uniqlo. I’m sort of letting you see the man this playboy is becoming. It’s a tale of two types of men. The billionaire and the hero. Finally, while I didn’t have his famous sunglasses, I got pretty close with my Dolce & Gabbana’s.

Stay tuned for day two’s look.
